Steckling Builders, LLC has built custom homes in the Fox Valley for nearly fifteen years.  We are a local, family business that has the vision and experience to create the home of your dreams.

Rick Steckling founded Steckling Builders in 1998, after years of experience in wood and steel framing.  Framing homes is now second nature and Rick is uniquely skilled in hand-framing difficult custom design features such as barrel vaulted ceilings, curved architectural elements and working with a wide range of building materials and designs styles.

At Steckling Builders, we have the understanding to build a home that will compliment your unique lifestyle and budget. We pride ourselves in being efficient, in maximizing usable space and incorporating green building practices and materials wherever feasible. Co-owner Tracy Steckling works with a variety of professionals to implement your design inspiration and place the finishing touches on your home.

In addition to custom homes, Steckling Builders specializes in additions, re-models and outdoor living spaces including custom decks and pergolas. We also do hail and storm damage repairs.

At Steckling Builders, we are “hands on” builders.  Not only does this personal touch instill confidence in us by our customers, it also is a cost savings to you as we do not have to subcontract as much of the work as other builders.
